David "Sylvain Sabbah" D Stevenson
December 2nd, 1935 - February 18th, 2017
David D Stevenson (née Sylvain Sabbah), age 81, of Las Vegas, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2017. David was born December 2, 1935 in Kef Tunisia to the late Eli and the late Rachel (Hallali) Sabbah. David was a Machinist and Tool Designer for the aerospace industry in Southern California. He was a traveler, gambler, inventor, dreamer, science-fiction fan and lover of horses. David was a Sephardic Jew from Tunisia that emigrated to America in 1963 by way of Paris and Montreal. He studied engineering in Paris and was self-taught in all other skills including mechanics, electrical and woodworking among others. He leaves behind a wife, three children, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A service will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Oakwood Memorial Park in Chatsworth CA. May he rest in peace now and get to explore the other worlds he always wondered about.
