Ed Runion, 72, passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Fran, his son Michael, his daughter-in-law Julie, and his two granddaughters Malina and Michaela. Live video feed will start at 11:00 Saturday October 11th, 2014 Ed was born and raised in the mountains of North Carolina, had a 36-year career as a Security Officer at the Kennedy Space Center supporting both Apollo and Space Shuttle Programs, and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rockledge. Ed loved plants, fishing, dogs, playing with his grandkids, and his vacation home in Green Mountain, NC. A funeral service will be held at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home in Viera at 11am, Saturday, October 11, with visitation starting at 10am.
