Charlie (Carlos) Quintanilla, 35, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on Friday June 9th, 2017 at Mountain View Hospital. Charlie was born in El Salvador to Telma Pinto and Virgilio Quintanilla on September 22nd, 1981. She grew up in San Francisco, becoming an active member of the LGBT community. Charlie eventually moved to Los Angeles, beginning her journey to becoming a Hair Designer and Stylist. She went on to earn a license and certification in Hair Design from The Academy of Hair Design in Las Vegas, and worked as a Hair Stylist for Supercuts. Not only was Charlie an amazing Stylist, she was also an extremely talented Artist and Painter who would light up the room whenever she entered. Charlie is survived by her husband of 9 years, William Lanker of Las Vegas; her sister Gish of San Francisco; her mother Telma, also of San Francisco and several cousins, aunts and uncles. There will be no public services. Memorial donations in her memory, may be made to The SF LGBT Center, Donations, 1800 Market Street, San Francisco, CA 94102
