Gary Wayne Skelton

Gary Wayne Skelton, born February 18, 1944, entered heaven at Nathan Adelson Hospice surrounded by his loving family on August 25, 2018 at 3:17 pm. Mr. Skelton, age 74, was born in Altadena, CA. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and remained a dedicated patriot all the years of his life. Gary Skelton was a successful businessman and entrepreneur on the Island of Oahu for many years. He later became CEO and President of Zee Medical Corp., a subsidiary of McKesson Drugs Company. Gary retired twenty-two years ago and moved to Sun City, Summerlin, NV. He was an avid golfer, made many wonderful friends in the golfing community and became President of the "Sun City 18 Holers" in 2010. Gary Skelton is survived by his loving wife, Janelle, of fifty-four years, his daughter Janeane, and three grandchildren Jessica, Elizabeth, and Zachary. The Skeltons enjoyed travel throughout Europe, Asia, South America, and Africa. Their lovely home was a center for generous hospitality and warm friendship. Gary was a gourmet cook and was known for his sense of humor, lavish generosity and love of life. Gary Skelton was a larger than life figure and will be sorely missed by all who experienced his love, joy and company. Services will be held at the Pinnacle Community Center 2215 Thomas Ryan Blvd. Las Vegas, Nevada 89134 in the Summit Room on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 11:00 AM.
