Steven "Shlomo Meyer Ben Shmuel V Esther" Merril Hoffman

Steven Merril Hoffman, age 76, a 16 year resident of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 16, 2018. Steve was born March 21, 1942 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He grew up in Philadelphia and was a graduate of Temple University. Steve was an avid sports fan, especially for Philadelphia teams. Steve was a United States Army Veteran who loved his country. He was a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather. His family was his life. Steve is survived by his wife of 53 years Janice Hoffman; children Ilana Shapiro (David) and Ronny Hoffman; grandchildren Matthew Philip Shapiro, Arianna Bella Shapiro, Talia Rose Shapiro, Julian Max Hoffman, Sophie Hope Hoffman and Sebastian Marley Hoffman. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, September 17, 2018 at Temple Sinai, 9001 Hillpointe Road, Las Vegas, NV.
