Emerenciana "Emy" Palomer Balsomo

Emerenciana "Emy" P. Balsomo Emerenciana Palomer Balsomo, better known by her beloved family and dear friends as Emy, passed away peacefully in Las Vegas, Nevada in the early hours of Wednesday, October 24th, 2018 at the age of 65 from a long battle with progressive dementia. Emy was born on January 23, 1953 in Manila, Philippines to Juanito Palomer Sr. and the late Maria Palomer (nee Legaspi). Emy graduated from the Philippine College of Commerce in 1973. On September 21, 1977, she married Belio Balsomo; they were married for 41 years. Emy immigrated to the United States in 1997 and took pride in being a full-time housewife, ensuring her family was always well and cared for. She was an avid romance novel reader and was known for her thoughtfulness in sending out greeting cards to family and friends during special occasions and holidays. She enjoyed listening to Barry Manilow, Jack Jones, Nat King Cole, and Andy Williams. She is survived by her husband, Belio; daughters, Renchie and Samantha; her grandson, Proverb; father, Juanito Sr., and siblings, Lilia, Arturo, and Juanito Jr. Emy is preceded in death by her mother, Maria and her brother, Lucinio. A funeral mass will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive Las Vegas, Nevada 89128 on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 1:30PM followed by visitations at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Home 3975 S. Durango Drive Ste. #104 Las Vegas, Nevada 89147 on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, October 28, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Her final resting place will be at Palm Eastern Cemetery 7600 S. Eastern Avenue Las Vegas, Nevada 89123. Belio, Renchie, and Samantha would like to extend their deepest gratitude for the love and support of her family, friends, and caregivers.
