Janet Terrill

Janet Terrill, 56, passed away on Sunday June 5, 2016. She is survived by her mother Mary, brother Bill and his wife Pat, sister Jane Haycraft and nephew Joshua Haycraft. She is predeceased by father Bill Sr. and nephew Logan Haycraft. Janet was born in Boston Massachusetts but moved at 8 weeks to Satellite Beach Florida where she lived until going to college. She graduated from University of Central Florida in December 1982 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Respiratory Therapy. Although she worked in Florida and Texas she eventually settled down in West Haven, Connecticut. She worked at the VA Hospital until she decided to live closer to her parents and moved to Flat Rock, North Carolina. Janet’s love for music was evident early on. She was an accomplished pianist, winning many competitions before graduating from high school. She was also an active member in Satellite High School’s choral group(s). She loved all sports but especially football, basketball, baseball, boxing and tennis. In her free time she loved listening to Rock music, watching movies and reading. Memorial service to be held at Beckman-Williamson on June 9 at 11 am.
