Linda "Westlund" Lou Stephenson

Linda Lou Westlund Stephenson, 76, of Mesquite, Nevada passed from this life Sunday, December 22, 2019 at Summerlin Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada with immediate family at her side. She was born Thursday, April 29, 1943 in Preston, Minnesota to Silas and Gladys Westlund. Linda grew up in Rochester, Minnesota where she met the love of her life Peter Stephenson. They married shortly after she graduated high school in Rochester, Minnesota on June 25, 1961. Linda loved to travel and see family. She was an excellent card player, her favorite games were “Bridge, Cribbage, Hand and Foot and Double Solitaire”, and she loved meeting all her friends for her weekly games. She would always have a jigsaw puzzle on the table at home to pass some of her free time along with putzing on her computer and sending jokes. Linda is survived by her husband Peter Stephenson, her sons Rex (Barbara) Stephenson, and Randy (Bobbi) Stephenson, her daughter DeAnna (John) Skeldon; Her grandchildren: JariAnne (Justin) DeLorm, Kyle (Janelle) Stephenson, LeBreah Skeldon, Alex Stephenson, Celena (Louie) Skivolocke, Robert Stephenson, Joey Hart and Tommy Hart; and her great grandchildren: Aiden Lee, Janea Elieen Marie, Zaiyne Edward-Stephenson, Ka’Morah Dior Eileen, Icarus Orion and Serenity Marie She was preceded in death by her Father and Mother, Silas And Gladys Westlund and Brother Jerry Westlund. Her family had private services for her in Las Vegas, Nevada
