Lily June Greek
April 5th, 1945 - August 10th, 2017
Lily June Greek peacefully passed on August 10, 2017. Born April 5, 1945 in Toledo Ohio to Dallas and June Stevenson. She was a devout Christian and a member of the Cocoa Seventh-day Adventist Church. She is preceded in death by her first husband, of 37 years, Hughlett Leland Greek Sr.; her parents Dallas and June Stevenson Sr.; brothers Clyde, Robert, Ray, Glen, Dallas Jr, sister Ruth Ann Crosby and stepson Chris Brandes. Lily moved to Florida at the age of 8 and started her first job at 12 years old at Thomas' Gladiola Farm in Rockledge and at 13, she worked at a grocery store. She met her first husband at the age of 15 and they were married until his death in 1997. She began working at Mr. Donut in 1970 where she put smiles on the faces of her customers. She then worked at Wuesthoff Hospital in the hospitality kitchen and also worked at the Dixie Restaurant, Florida Cracker BBQ, and Titusville Walmart. She retired after an auto accident in May of 2015. She is survived by her husband Raymond Brandes, Sons: Hughlett "Leland" (Debbie) Greek Jr., Hugh (Renee) Greek, William Greek, Daughter: Sherry (Bryant) Mahaffey Step daughters: Shirley Inman (Jim King), Penny (Greg) Jahnke, Step sons: Joey Brandes, Shane Brandes, Sisters: Linda (Ray)Wynn, Lee Stevenson - Sanders (Bob) Brother: Dean Stevenson, Frank Stevenson, 15 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren, and 3 Great Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held August 19,2017, at Cocoa Seventh Day Adventist Church 1500 Cox Road, Cocoa, Florida. Viewing will be at 2pm, Service will follow at 3pm, followed by a processional to Pincrest Cemetery. Following internment, family and friends are invited to a repast at the Seventh-Day Adventist church, 1500 Cox Rd., Cocoa. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Hospice of St. Frances, Titusville.
