Joseph John Chiacchieri

Celebrating the life of Joseph John Chiacchieri October 9, 1948 - October 8, 2023 Born in Boston, Massachusetts to Joseph Francis Chiacchieri and Margaret McGarty. A well accomplished man, serving his country the United States Navy, honorably discharged on June 24, 1975 after serving in the Vietnam War, stationed in the Republic of Cyprus. December 1976, he graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Maryland. December 1982, he successfully earned his Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University in California. With this, he successfully negotiated thousands of government top secret, classified, billion dollar contracts to better the efforts of the US Government. In 2016, Joseph retired as a Senior Contracts Manager for Lockheed Martin after working for Hughes Aircraft Company, Raytheon and IBA. He enjoyed volunteering for the YMCA, coaching T-Ball, Baseball and Hockey. He was a talented accordion player and recorded two music albums. He lived a healthy, happy lifestyle, working out and winning fitness challenges such as “the Challenge”. Joseph also enjoyed golfing, traveling, participating in the Vintage Car Club as a proud owner of his 30 year anniversary Corvette, faithfully attending church as a Knight of Columbus for his catholic parish and enjoying life with his friends and family - particularly with his son, daughter and grandchildren. In 2013, he was widowed by his late wife Debra Ann Chiacchieri. He was 74 years old when he passed, upon suffering a massive hemorrhagic stroke. The Lord brought him to heaven on Sunday October 8th, 2023 at 11:59. Joseph will be dearly missed and is survived by his twin sister Margaret Jemison, brother-in-law Elliott Jemison, nephew Matthew Jemison, son Andrew Joseph Chiacchieri, daughter-in-law Melisa Chiacchieri, granddaughter Zoey Ann Chiacchieri, grandson Edward Arthur Chiacchieri, daughter Christina Louise Botello and son-in-law Jose Botello.
