Meredith "Moe" E. Connor Jr.

Meredith “Moe” Esmond Connor, Jr. of Merritt Island and Viera passed away in his home at the age of 79. He was born Nov. 16, 1937 in Waterford NY. He is predeceased by his parents, Meredith E. Connor and Elthear Costello Connor; and brother, Gary F. Connor. Memories will be cherished by his wife of 53 years, Linda Pallozzi Connor; his children, Nina Bonventre of Cocoa, FL, Meredith E. Connor, III of Chelsea, MA, and Karen E. Connor of Birmingham, AL; grandchildren, Hunter and Alina Bonventre of Merritt Island, FL; sister, Janice Hayes (Jim) of Melbourne, FL; brother Douglas (Pam) of Schenectady NY, brother, Dean (Serena) of Waterford NY; and many nieces and nephews. Moe enlisted in the US Army and was honorably discharged from the Signaling Engineering Agency in 1961. He enjoyed a long career in Communications with companies including North Electric, ITT, and Paravant Computer Systems/DRS, from which he retired as Director of Marketing. He continued his own consulting company, MCON, until 2015. In his retirement, he enjoyed golfing, traveling, and spending time with family. Moe was a true “Mr-fix-it” around his home, had a love of cars (especially his two early Porsches), of boating, and excelled at cooking. He loved good food, the community it created, and was ever the story-teller around the table. Memorial service will be held Friday, 11/10/17 at the Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home in Viera, Fl, with reception to follow at Heritage Isle club house.
