Jim, a resident of Rockledge, FL, was born on Feb 1, 1939 in The Bronx, NY and peacefully passed away on Nov 27, 2017. He is predeceased by his parents, John and Catherine Sullivan. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Joan Sullivan, and his two stepdaughters Cindy DeForest and her husband Bob of Rockledge, and Susan Hendrix and her husband David of Colorado Springs, CO. He is little brother to John Sullivan and his wife Imelda of Bronxville, NY, and uncle to their four children. Jim spent many years in the advertising business in New York, Colorado and California. After retiring at the end of 2006 he and Joan moved from Colorado to Florida where he remained active as a volunteer at Holmes Regional Medical Center, Viera Hospital and Wuestoff Hospital as well as active at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Community in Viera. Jim was a kind soul who really loved people and made friends wherever he went. He was a living example of Ephesians 4:32, “And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.” A memorial service will be held at Beckman-Williamson Funeral home, 5400 Village Drive, Rockledge, FL at 11:00 AM on Friday, Dec 1, 2017.
