Marjorie Jane Carrington
January 8th, 1927 - June 10th, 2018
Marjorie was born in East Chicago, Indiana on January 8, 1927. After her father died, when she was three years old, her mother, sister and Marjorie returned to Door County, Wisconsin where her mother had grown up. Marjorie went to college at the University of Wisconsin and then Kent State. She worked in various sales jobs, travelling all over the country. She met Mayo in Dayton, Ohio and they married in 1956. Mayo was in the Air Force and they moved around the country until they got to northern Virginia where they stayed until retirement. Marjorie stayed at home with the children until they were in junior high and then she worked as a real estate agent. Marjorie loved her family very much and she is survived by her children, Susan (married to David Fergus) and Mayo (married to Carol), her grandchildren Sarah, Brian, Amanda and Becky and three great grandchildren, Sawyer, Solveigh and Soren. Marjorie was preceded in death by her loving husband Mayo Carrington on July 12, 2015. They will both be buried in Ft Howard Cemetery in Green Bay, Wisconsin at a later date. Service will be held on July 28, 2018 at 3:00 at the Chapel at Indian River Colony Club, Melbourne, Florida with a reception following at the At Ease Club. Please join us in this time of fellowship.
