Frank Beylo

Frank Beylo, 87, a US Army Veteran of the Korean War, formerly of Bowie, Maryland, passed away on July 25, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dolores and their children Frank, and his wife Lisa of Crofton, Maryland and Michael and his wife Denise of Bowie Maryland, grandchildren Caitlin, Cameron, Corinne, Megan, Brandon and Ryan and of course a very devoted Toy Shih Tzu named Pumpkin that will miss him very much. He is also survived by the last of his 12 siblings Ann Morgan of Boynton Beach, Fla. He was a graduate of Alfred University in New York State and then went on to earn his Masters’ degree from Bowie State University. His teaching career spanned over 33 years starting off teaching English and then devoted over 25 years in middle school Special Education. He continued teaching even after retiring from the Department of Education by private tutoring where he continued to shape young lives. He will be long remembered as a devoted husband, father and grandfather and someone who would do anything for anyone. He enjoyed playing golf (when he could), watching golf anytime, poker with the guys, reading the newspaper and Jeopardy. He was a well-respected member of his community and a long-time member of Saint John The Evangelist Catholic Community located at 5655 Stadium Parkway, Viera, Florida, where a Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday August 9th at 11:00 A.M. Following the Mass, the Family will host a reception in Holy Cross Hall adjacent to the church from 12:00pm to 2:00pm. The Family is asking that in lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory be sent via check or money order to Saint Johns The Evangelist Catholic Church to support the needs of the Parish and the Community
