Craig M Whittaker

Craig M. Whittaker-Merritt Island, Florida 62 years, passed away on June 10, 2020. He is the son of Clyde and Ellen Whittaker of Merritt Island, Florida. Born in Panama City, Florida he was a life long Florida resident. He graduated from the University of Central Florida and began his career at Naval Air Station, Jacksonville, then transitioned to NASA’s Kennedy Space Center and retired after 40 years of service as the Launch Services Program Acquisition Manager. His favorite pastimes are spending time with family and friends, surfing, weekend trips and travel destinations to visit family, music and concerts, attending car shows and races with his son Jarrod. He will be remembered for having the biggest heart, his outgoing personality, quick wit, and “Craigarious” laugh. He was always happy and willing to listen and provide his kindest advice to anyone who asked for any situation. He is loved by everyone who knows him. He will be best remembered as the proud father of Jarrod T. Whittaker, husband of Annette Whittaker, step-father to AnneMarie and Timothy, brother to Kenneth A. Whittaker, (Elizabeth Whittaker), and uncle to Jessica Selbert. Contact Beckman-Williamson for arrangements.
