Dennis R. Loos passed in peace at the age of 59, Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at JFK Medical Center in Atlantis, Florida. Born in Pinckneyville, Illinois, on November 3, 1961, the son of John H. Jr. and Adriana Bathon Loos, Dennis married Tamela F. Patton on November 22, 1979, at Saint Bruno’s Catholic Church. In 1980, he joined the United States Air Force, honorably serving through retirement as a Staff Sergeant in 1995. Dennis went on to successfully operate and manage multiple Dominos Pizza franchises in southern Illinois for twenty years. In 2016, he realized his professional dream by purchasing and operating his own franchise under Loos Pizza Inc. through 2021 in Clewiston, Florida. Dennis was known for his incredible work ethic and an enormous spirit of charity he shared with his family, friends, employees, and community. Known to many for his outgoing personality and generosity, Dennis was always there to extend a helping hand without condition. Perhaps only outmatched by his love for family was his passion for travel. An avid cruiser, Dennis and Tammy traveled throughout the world on their well-earned vacations. A proud patriot, father, entrepreneur, and friend. Dennis is survived by his wife, Tamela Loos of Clewiston, FL; children, Chris of Quincy, IL, Tiffanie of Clewiston, FL, Tina (Chris) Isaacs of Melbourne, FL, Jessica (Michael) Klouda of Melbourne, FL; 4 grandchildren; four brothers, Charley Loos of Jourdanton, TX, Gene Loos of Pinckneyville, Joseph Loos of Pinckneyville, and Kenneth Loos of Percy; and six sisters, Rosemary Bochantin of Nashville, IL, Shirley Geppert of Mount Vernon, IL, Dorothy Wildermuth of Pinckneyville, Kate Michaels of Henderson, NV, Susan Jones of Aledo, TX, and Joan Williams of San Antonio, TX.
