Jeanette M. Jandreau passed peacefully, in her sleep, Sunday morning, Jan 2, 2022, to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at her son's home in Rockledge under Vitas Hopice Care. She was 97, born April 3, 1924 in Timmis, Ont, Canada. She moved from Detroit, Michigan to Cape Canaveral, Florida, Jan, 1958, with husband and son to construct and open up Harbor Lights Trailer Park. She was a devoted Christian and a parishioner of Our Savior’s where she would volunteer and work preparing food for the annual fair and sending out notices for the church. For many years she collected money at door for Sunday breakfast served at the VFW for many years. She was known for her fabulous Carrot Cake at church raffles and Cape Shores where she resided. The proudest moments of her life was getting her High School Diploma, becoming a US Citizen and the birth of her Granddaughter, Tanya. She and her husband traveled throughout the 4 corners of the world, visiting many countries before retiring. They enjoyed sailing their 27’ Hunter sailboat, “Miss Tanya,” on the Indian River.They also traveled in their motor home throughout the US and Canada before settling in Maggie Valley, NC, during the the spring and summer months for many happy years She is Preceded in Death, by her husband, Ernest I Jandreau; father, Jean Menard; mother, Ruby Menard;. Surviving siblings include Ray Menard, Madeline Ferreira, Louise Lanzetta, Denise Michael (Chuck), Muriel Honore (Al); son, William (Bill) Shearer (Patsy); granddaughter, Tanya O'Rourke (Scott), great granddaughter, Haley; great great grandson, Kolson; step son, John Jandreau, (Mary); grandson, Paul (Kim); great granddaughters, Ava and Chloe; grandson, Christopher, granddaughter, Theresa. A memorial Mass will be held at Church of or Saviour Cataholic Church in Ccoa Beach, FL at 11:00 A.M Friday, February 11, 2022 with the cremains to be placed in the meorial gardens following the Mass.
