Patrick Joseph Markey 84 passed away July 30, 2022 after a short illness. He resided in Viera, Fl. with his wife Loretta. He was born in Swords, Ireland. He joined the US Air Force shortly after immigrating at age 18. After attending St Louis University for his aerospace engineering degree, he took a job at NASA where he worked for 34 years until retirement. He was in the Naval Reserves for 20 years leaving as Commander. He is survived by his wife Loretta, brother Denis, sister June, son Kevin & his wife Julie, grandchildren Kailey Markey Murphy. J. Cole Markey, several nieces & nephews and cousins in Ireland. In lieu of flowers donate to the Wounded Warriors. Military Honor Service September 30, at 11:00 @ Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
