Thomas Leston Harrison

Thomas Leston Harrison went to be with his Lord at Cape Canaveral Hospital in Cocoa Beach, Florida on Wednesday, December 7, 2022. Tom was born in Elizabeth City, North Carolina on December 31, 1968. He spent his early years in Windsor, North Carolina moving to the Midwest as a child. He graduated from Mount Vernon High School in Evansville, Indiana and attended Southern Indiana University majoring in Journalism. He enjoyed spending time with his grandparents on Roanoke Island - loved the outdoors climbing trees and Jockey’s Ridge sand dune at Nags Head. Loving the Outer Banks, he returned to live there in the 1990’s and was employed in real estate. He enjoyed assisting vacationers to the area. Tom enjoyed history, especially research on the Titanic and his family. He was a direct Mayflower descendant, great grandson of John Alden and Priscilla Mullins and General James Cudworth, a leader in Plymouth Colony. He leaves to cherish his memory parents Brenda Daniels Harrison Stephenson and William Harrison and his wife Myra, daughters Sydney and Morgan Harrison, Uncle Dana Harrison and cousins. He is predeceased by his grandparents Miriam Cudworth Daniels, Arnold Leston Daniels, Louise Lawrence Harrison and William Thomas Harrison. Services will be held in the Spring at Cudworth Cemetery on Roanoke Island, Wanchese, North Carolina.
