Karen Ann Marie Wells

Karen Lund Wells, formerly of North Dakota, passed away peacefully on March 4th, 2023 in Melbourne, Florida. She is preceded in death by her father, Fred Lund, and mother, Ruth Lund Larson. She is survived by Larry, her husband of 36 years, seven children: Jason Gustofson (Jill), Jaron Gustofson (Rachel), Jalon Gustofson (Becky), Tara Styf (Terry) all of West Fargo, ND; Mara Pierce (Chad), Naples, FL, Lori Kirwan, Melbourne, FL, Larissa Wells of Melbourne, FL, and ten grandchildren. Karen was born in Northern Wisconsin and grew up in Superior, Wisconsin and Duluth, Minnesota area. She had many passions – number one being a mother and grandmother of a large family. She worked and was very successful as an Interior Decorator most of her life. Karen also owned and managed the Friendship House (Home for Seniors) for five years in Minneapolis. She touched many with her beauty and vibrant personality. A special thank you to all the wonderful care givers at St. Francis Hospice, Melbourne, FL. The funeral service will be at the First Lutheran Church, 619 Broadway, North Fargo, ND on April 13th, 2023. Visitation is at 1:00 pm and the service will begin at 2:00 pm. A private entombment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery, Duluth, MN on Friday, April 14th, 2023. Contributions in memory can be made to St. Francis Hospice, Melbourne, FL.
