Tamara D. Connell

Tamara Denise Connell passed away on March 22nd, 2023 in Orlando, Florida, after a brief illness. She is preceded in death by her father, Paul Stephens, and mother, Emma Stephens Stigall. She is survived by Joshua Connell, her husband of 15 years, and her son Andrew. Tamara was born and raised in Somerset, Kentucky. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Berea College and a Master’s degree from Eastern Kentucky University. Tamara had a passion for supporting students pursuing a college education. She worked in student services at Eastern Kentucky University, East Carolina University, Catholic University of America, and as an Education Specialist for the Department of the Air Force at Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota. Tamara was a dedicated mother and a supportive Air Force spouse. She touched many with her beauty, infectious smile, big heart, and vibrant personality. Friends and family are invited to Beckman Williamson Funeral Home - Viera, FL, from 6:00 - 7:00PM, Wednesday, March 29, 2023 to pay respects. Funeral services will begin at 7:00PM, Pastor Ken Babington officiating. Contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
