Edward Lewis Campbell, 68, of Rockledge, Florida, passed peacefully into heaven on April 18, 2024. He grew up in Kissimmee Florida and was a member of one of the Osceola County pioneer families. After graduating from Osceola High School, where he was affectionately known as Stork, he dedicated 21 years of his life in the Air Force. His commitment and service to his country were exemplary. After his military career, he pursued a profession as a Nuclear Waste Shipper. His dedication and attention to detail were evident in all aspects of his work. In his free time, he enjoyed being a licensed ham radio operator and connecting with friends worldwide through his hobby. He is survived by his sister, Deborah Campbell Martuch; niece, Melanie Martuch Bayer (Matt); nephew, Alan Martuch; great niece Hazel Bayer; great nephew Coleman Bayer. He was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel Campbell, and father, Edward H. Campbell. In addition, he was preceded in death by his beloved pet children, his lovely dogs Ginger, Maggie, Snowie, Jake and Rufus. A ceremony to honor his life will be held at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at 2:30 pm, lane C. Contributions in his memory can be made to Disabled American Veterans or St. Jude Children’s Hospital. The funeral services are entrusted to Beckman Williamson in Rockledge, Florida. May Ed’s memory live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
