Susan Patricia Mitchell of Springfield Georgia received her angel wings and passed away Friday May 3, 2024 at the age of 68 in Melbourne Florida. She was born July 13, 1955 in Glens Falls New York. Sue graduated from Fort Edward High School with the class of 1973. After having her children she studied at Adirondack Community College. Sue attended Silver Hill Methodist Church in Springfield Georgia. Sue spent her life devoted to her family and friends. She enjoyed life never met a stranger. She loved cooking, going on adventures, reading, doing puzzles, crossword puzzles, and collecting salt and pepper shakers. Sue enjoyed taking care of people. She was a loving person with a strong personality. Sue is survived by her daughter Vicki Aspy (Jeremiah) of Angola Indiana, 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, sister Diane Champagne and her faithful furbaby Precious. She was preceded in death by her parents Roderick and Loana Cheeney, daughter Anne Marie Castro, son Jeremy "Bubba" Parris and grandson Noah Richard Mallane. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday May 24th at Silver Hill Methodist Church 835 Silver Hill Church Rd. Springfield, Georgia 31329.
