CHARLOTTE HOPE UPCHURCH Duffield- Charlotte Hope Miller Upchurch, 74, of Duffield, went to be with Jesus on Wednesday morning (August 22, 2018) at Holston Valley Medical Center. Charlotte was a lifelong resident of Duffield. She loved to quilt and especially loved to spend time with her family. She was a faithful member of Kaylors Chapel Baptist Church. Mrs. Upchurch was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Evalee Brooks Miller; 5 infant sons; a granddaughter, Katie; her grandson, Cody; her brother, Jimmy Allen Miller. Charlotte Upchurch is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Billy Joe Upchurch; daughters, Renae Fields, Jodi Trippett and husband, Jeff, Stephanie Thompson; her adopted daughter, Mary Estep; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Sunday (August 26, 2018) from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Kaylors Chapel Baptist Church or friends may also call anytime at the residence. A funeral service will be conducted on Sunday (August 26, 2018) at Kaylors Chapel Baptist Church with Brother David Kern, officiating. Music will be provided by Kaylors Chapel Baptist Church Choir.
