Elizabeth Madeline Todd
August 19th, 1923 - September 7th, 2018
Elizabeth M. Todd, age 95, of Bristol, VA, formerly of Scott County, VA, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 7, 2018 at NHC Healthcare Bristol. She was a member of Zion Baptist Church in Fairview, VA, where her husband had served as pastor prior to his passing. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elder Howard Todd; daughter, Deborah Davenport; mother and step-father, William and Ona Davis, She is survived by her daughter, Donna Malone and husband, Paul; 4 grandchildren, Lisa Herrington and husband, Richard, Todd Davenport and wife, Robbie, Tim Calhoun and wife, Laura and Matt Pierson; 6 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren; and special friends, Eileen Maynard and Ellen Dodson. The family would like to especially thank Ella McLemore, Roxie Jenkins, Priscilla Croomes and the staff of NHC Healthcare Bristol, also Gina Fugate with Caris Hospice, for their loving care and support for Elizabeth during her declining health. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Scott County Funeral Home in Weber City, VA. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Holston View Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.scottcountyfuneralhome.com.
