December 14th, 1959 - June 7th, 2022
Ft Blackmore – Paula Gail Hass Bishop, 62 of Ft Blackmore, VA, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Kingsport and had lived all of her life in Scott County. She was preceded in death by the father of her children3, Sam Ervin; her parents, R.C. “Banner” Hass and Carol Arwood; daughter, Tracy Weeks; brother, Mike Hass. Paula is survived by her husband of 12 years, Dayton Bishop; daughters, Dawn Strickler (Tom), Samantha Carter and LeAnna Hickman (Mike); 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Shelby Tomlinson (Larry); brothers, Robert Hass (Mary) and Dennis Hass; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Friday at Holston View Cemetery. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:45 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lord’s House on Red Hill. Scott County Funeral Home, Weber City is serving the Bishop family.
