David A. Cogar, 69, of Washington DC, passed away in Suburban Hospital on Sunday April 25, 2010 due to complications from open-heart surgery. He is survived by his wife: Joanne Cogar, his son: David Cogar, Jr. (Danielle) and his daughter: Kristen Burtle (Andrew). He is also survived by four loving grandchildren and a brother: John Cogar (Mary). A memorial service will be held at The Washington National Cathedral- Bethlehem Chapel 3101 Wisconsin Avenue Northwest Washington DC 20016 on Saturday May First at 2 in the afternoon with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Cathedral at the above address or to the American Heart Association at www.americanheart.org/donate.
