Jack Donohue Taliaferrro July 7, 1921- October 26,2020 Jack Donahue Taliaferro was born in Fort Wotth, Texas. He was the middle child with two sisters, Velma and Dorothy. He graduated from Paschal High School and served in the Navy during WWII. He completed his college education at LaTourneau University in Longview Texas. Jack spent most of his career as an Estimating Manager at Martin Marietta Aerospace Company in Littleton, Colorado. Jack married Lue Ellie McGee on June 1, 1947. They were married 66 years before she preceded him in death. He had two children, Debra and Jack Jr., three grandchildren, Jadara, Jacqui and Joshua and one great grandson, Beto Jack. He also was an active uncle and great uncle to Shari, Traci, Taylor, Cody, Alex, Maddie, Elli and Kolani. Jack enjoyed traveling with his relatives and friends. He made many fun trips with his brother and sisters in law, Myra, Rita, Carl and Susan as well as friends, Jim and Betty, Bill and Dixie, Sharon and Don, Nattie and Bus. After Lue's death in 2013, Jack moved to Bonaventure Retirement Community in Castle Rock, Colorado. He made many friends there and enjoyed sharing fun times with them especially the margarita parties and social gatherings. He felt special and cared for by the staff and his caregivers. Jack had a long, active, full life for gg years. He was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.
