On Thursday July 14, 2011. Admiral Noel A.M. Gayler USN (Ret.) age 96 of Alexandria, VA. Beloved husband of Jeanne V. Gayler. He is also survived by five children, three stepchildren and several grandchildren and siblings. A Memorial Service and reception will be held on Sunday November 6, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mount Vernon Unitarian Church 1909 Windmill Lane Alexandria, VA 22307. Graveside services with full military honors will follow on Monday November 7, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Arlington National Cemetery (participants should assemble at the Administration Building by 2:30). In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to: Doctors Without Borders USA, P.O. Box 5030 Hagerstown, MD 21741.
