Carlton Grant Meyer

Carlton G. Meyer of Silver Spring Maryland, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016 surrounded by friends and family. Carlton is survived by his wife of 24 years Kelly Meyer; his beautiful daughters Mackenzie and Kendall; his favorite sister Kim Meyer; brothers Greg Meyer and wife Alison and their children Will and Grace; Bradley Meyer and wife Leslie and their children Ty, Avery and Reagan Plate; father and mother in-law Bill and Carolee Cummins of Richmond Indiana; sister-in law Lisa Davis and husband Dan of Cincinnati, OH and their children Cameron, Brooklyn and Austin and grandchildren Kennedy and Adler; sister-in-law; Amy Cummins; aunts Marcia Laundy of Silver Spring, MD and Adele Meyer of Freeport, NY; cousins Dawn Meyer and partner George Dunning; Vernon Meyer and wife Mandy Meyer of Massapequa and their children Mason and Ayla. Born to and survived by his loving parents John and Elinor Meyer he was a lifelong resident of Silver Spring, Maryland. Carlton was known for his passion for life and natural ability to put a smile on the face of anyone he met. His laughter, jokes and loyalty to friends and family will be missed by those who knew him. Carlton will most certainly be remembered for his intense love and devotion to his two daughters whom he referred to as his heroes. The viewing will be held on Friday, October 21, 2016 from 3 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm at Ashton Methodist Church on 17314 New Hampshire Avenue, Ashton, MD 20861.
