Sandra Myhr Henson

Sandra Henson, 78, Denver, CO, went home on October 28, 2022. She was an amazing mom, Nana and friend, and is survived by her son Eric; daughter-in-law Kathleen; granddaughters Madison and Sydney; sister Donna; sister-in-law Linda; nephews Barry, Scott, and Dan; nieces Lisa and Missy; ten grand nephews and nieces, and many friends, who she traveled and laughed with throughout her life journey. She leaves behind over twenty envelopes of photos of her worldwide travels for her family to enjoy. She loved good food, good wine, modern art, yellow labs, and pink flamingoes. She was a longtime employee or Forest Oil and also Rose Medical Center. She treasured her Girls Night Out (GNO) and Bosom Buddies breast cancer survivor groups. She will join her husband Gary; parents Ellsworth and Pat; and brother Barry at Fort Logan on November 21 at 9:15 am, staging area C. Her spirit will also meet up with another brother Les; a niece Jody; and her friends Avonne and Esmei. Memorials may be made in her honor to the charity of your choice. She supported breast cancer research, the Denver Museum of Art, the American Red Cross, and other organizations. Her memory will forever live in the lives she touched.
