Leonard Cohen 9.30.1945 – 11.26.2023 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Leonard Cohen, a loving father and grandfather. Lenny passed away peacefully, leaving behind two daughters and one grandson and a legacy of love, dedication, and strength. . Born in Brooklyn, New York, Lenny got married at age 25 and moved to Connecticut to raise his family. He then moved to Fort Lauderdale in his 60s where he lived out the remainder of his life with his partner, Bonnie. Lenny loved his two daughters very much and they were a source of great pride. His hard work and determination were driven by his desire to provide for his family, ensuring that they had everything they needed, including memorable family vacations that will be cherished forever. Every vacation, regardless of location, involved a trip to the beach or lake and activities focused on enjoying nature, which inspired his daughter to a career in marine science and policy. Lenny took immense joy in his role as a grandfather. His visits with his grandson were moments of pure joy and laughter, leaving behind memories that will be treasured forever.
