Judith "Judi" G. King Ellis

Judi, (Judith) G. King Ellis of Greensboro, NC passed away on August 5, 2018. Judi was born on August 7, 1942 in Ieager, WV. Judi was a 1960 graduate of Ieager High School and later studied theology at Jacksonville Bible College. She was the owner operator of Judi’s Interiors in Princeton, WV and retired from Social Security Administration in Greensboro, NC. Judi was passionate about gardening, loved to travel, and was a devout Christian. Preceding her in death is her father, Reverend George King, mother, Lillian Mounts King, and brother Mack King. Survivors include: Her loving spouse of 35 years, Boyd R Ellis ; Children- Belinda Workman (David), Barry England (Katy), Lisa Sokolosky (Mitch) and Jeffrey Ellis (Audra.); Grandchildren- Brian Carrico(Leah), Joshua Carrico, Christina Lane (Anthony), Reagan England, Jesse Ellis, Ashley Ellis, James Ellis, Tommy Sokolosky and Stephen Sokolosky; Siblings- Russell King (Frances), Jerry King (Betty), Darlene King Payne (Roger), Christine King Belcher, and Marilyn Fain (Roger), Sister in Law Selina Gray, brother in law Gary Ellis (Pat), aunt Linda King Barnett(Ray), seven great grandchildren and several close cousins, nieces, nephews and loved ones. Services will be held Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Cathedral of Faith Christian Center, 7200 Summerfield Rd, Summerfield, NC. Visitation is from 1-3 and funeral at 3pm immediately following.
