Mary Elizabeth Brake, 78, went home to be with her Lord June 25, 2020. Graveside Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 2:00PM Saturday June 27, 2020 at Lakeview Memorial Park. A “walk through” time of visiting with family and friends will be from 12:30pm until 1:30pm Saturday at the Pierce-Jefferson Lambeth Chapel. A native of Florida, Mary was the daughter of the late Ruby Leona Gallops and I J Brake. She also preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Michelle Brake. She had worked for a number of years as a National Service coordinator in the telephone industry. She had been a longtime member of Eastern Gate Assembly of God. Mary loved time in her garden and also loved to sew. Survivors include her sister, Nell Allred and Joe; brothers, William Brake, Gerald Brake, Richard Brake and Linda, David Brake and Cindy, and Carl Brake and Mary; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
