Billy Gray Johnson, 89, of Greensboro NC passed away on November 1, 2023. He was born on October 10, 1934 in Hamptonville, NC to the late Roger and Pauline Johnson. He is survived by his loving wife, Janice, of 66 years; daughters, Lane Willard-Bowman (Johnny) and Tammy Yow (Bruce); grandchildren, Natalie Williams (Mark), Brian Welch (Cassie), Erin Walker (Patrick) and Taylor Yow (Madie); and 6 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jeff Johnson and sister, Mary Wright. Billy will be available for viewing at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral home on Saturday November 4th, 2023 from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, November 4th at Lakeview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lake Brandt Baptist Church, Greensboro NC.
