Greensboro, NC Mrs. Thelma W. Wright, 79 of Greensboro passed away Monday 1/25/2010 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Dan Alderman and Rev. Marion Boling officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park Mrs. Wright was born in Guilford County on November 12, 1930 a daughter to the late Alfred Whitt and Queen Esther Gregory Whitt. She was preceded in death by her husbands Otis Lynch to which she was married for twenty-nine years and Tom Wright for twenty-two years. She was also predeceased by her daughter Linda McNeal. Mrs. Wright was a current member of Lawndale Baptist Church and the Jean Phillips Mission Group. She was a former member of Sixteenth Street Baptist Church and retired from Sears in 1993 after 38 years of service. She is survived her daughters Sue Fritz and husband Lindsay of Greensboro, Joyce Steelman of Greensboro, her sons Danny Lynch and wife Teresa of Greensboro and Roy Lynch of Greensboro; her sister, Janice Maness and husband J.W. of Greensboro; nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; step daughters Linda Woods of Stem, NC, Kay Morgan and husband Joe of Durham, NC, and Millie Frazier of Louisburg, NC; step son Larry Wright of Stem, NC. The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Donald Murinson, staff members Robin & Amy and sitter Renee Bell for their wonderful care. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Service.
