Sue Auton Yow

Sue Auton Yow, 60, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2016 surrounded by her family and friends. Sue was born November 6, 1955 in Greensboro, the daughter of Lois Kirby Auton and the late Adam David Auton. Sue was employed by the Cone Health System for nearly 30 years, mostly in the Quality Department. She was highly thought of and well respected by co-workers and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Donald Yow, step-daughter Kimberly Yow and in-laws Harold David Yow, Melvin Arnold Yow, Letris Irene Yow, Richard Andrew Yow, Sarah Lucille Tew, Patsy Joyce Yow, and Robert Alan Yow. Family was very precious to Sue. She is survived by her son, Steven Yow (Ashley), daughter Karen Yow Haynes (Dalton), and grandchildren, and step-daughter Angie Eller (John). Also surviving are Sue's sisters Sara Newcomer (Chris) and Betty O'Brien, brother Larry Auton (Deirdre), sisters-in-law Nancy Yow, Faye Yow and Carolyn Yow, and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Family Support Network of Central Carolina - 801 Green Valley Road, Greensboro NC 27408.
