February 13th, 1934 - May 7th, 2016
Thomas Earl Golden, Jr., age 82, died Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Moses Cone Hospital. He was born in Guilford County on February 13, 1934 a son to Thomas Earl Golden, Sr. and Maude White Fulton Golden. He worked for many years for the Greensboro News & Record as a paper composer until his retirement. Surviving is his wife Linda Yow Golden of the home; daughter, Cindy Jones and husband Mike of Summerfield; sons, Thomas Earl Golden, III of Greensboro and John F. Golden and wife Cindy of Walnut Cove; sister, Betty Hipp and husband Junior of Greensboro; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A Celebration Of Life Service will be held Wednesday at 6:00 PM at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Kevin Boswell officiating.
