Bobby "Beefy" Farrington
July 7th, 1931 - July 8th, 2014
Bobby "Beefy" Farrington, age 83, went home to be with the Lord on July 8, 2014. Born July 7, 1931 in Forsyth County, he lived in Gibsonville and was very involved with his community. He served in the Navy, with an honorable discharge and was a man of many trades. Survivors include a son, Bobby "Lynn" Farrington and his wife Diane who reside in Gibsonville; granddaughter, Crystal Murray and husband Brad of Gibsonville; granddaughter, Stacy Long and husband Shayne of McLeansville. Step son, Robert McKinney. Step son Mark McKinney and wife Lindsay. Step daughter, Karen Beam and husband, David. Step daughter, Sandra Page and husband Tim, As well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bobby was preceded in death by his wife, Lorene Farrington, father, Clem Farrington and mother Etta Schoolfield Farrington. A Memorial Service will be held at 2.00 p.m. on Thursday, July 10th at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Whitsett, NC. Relatives and friends are welcome at the home of his son, Lynn in Gibsonville.
