Earl Freeman Brant

Earl Freeman Brant Born April 20, 1943 in Seigling SC to Owen “Earl” Brant and Virginia Connelly Brant. Passed Away on March 21, 2016 in Walterboro SC Freeman was the 7th son and 12th child born into a large family of fourteen siblings. He was a very talented guy. During his lifetime he worked at many trades including making blinds, construction, master cabinet builder, and HVAC system installation and repair. He was employed as a supervisor at Atlas Sign in Summerville. Freeman was a member of The Charleston Rifle Club. He served on the building committee for the building of the facility on Heriot St in Charleston. He was an avid bowler, rolling a perfect game during league competition. His was the first 300 game rolled at the Rifle Club. Freeman is survived by his wife Terry, daughters – Stephanie Brant Lewis (Randall), Tsusami Floresca, Paula Jacques (Dewayne); son Tray Dempsey (Brandy); grands – Randall Lewis Jr, Logan Lewis, John Kreighbaum, Brandon Kreighbaum, Emily West, Calvin West, Dewayne Jacques Jr; – Brothers – Dilly Brant, Buddy Brant, Lanier Brant, Connelly Brant; Sisters – Peggy Russ, Doris Gladden, Hazel Lee, Truma Polin and Linda Brant. Special Cousin Becky Honeywell, to whom Freeman was like her brother and her hero! Freeman was predeceased by his father, Earl Brant, his mother, Virginia Connelly Brant, brothers, Bobby Brant, Furman Brant, Sisters Vernelle Kinard and Nola Bash. A visitation will be held at Pittman Street Baptist Church, 5105 Pittman St. North Charleston, SC 29405 on Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and a memorial service will follow from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memoriams can be made to Pittman Street Baptist Church.
