Melvin L. Miller

Melvin L. Miller was born on September 14, 1933 in Catharine, Kansas. He was a Gunner’s Mate in the US Navy, worked in construction, and as an insurance salesman. He enjoyed working with his hands and kept himself busy in his woodshop and outdoors, especially on the farm and in the yard. He was a regular attendee of Salem Evangelical Church and enjoyed friends made there. Mel died at home on May 19, 2020 of natural causes. He is survived by his wife, Karlyn, sister, Virginia Basel, children, Doug, Cheri and Curt Miller. He was also close to his niece Laurie. Family members would like to especially thank Bristol Hospice for their care and support during this difficult time.
