Mrs. Vicki Vickery Brown, 63, of Gibsonville, died Monday, October 3, 2011 at Moses Cone Hospital. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Thursday, October 6th at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Chapel, with the Reverend Joe Chandler officiating. Mrs. Brown was born May 28, 1948, in Guilford County to the late David and Roxie Moore Vickery. She was married to the late Johnny Louis Brown Jr. She loved her flowers, animals, and children. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her sister, Robin V. Hunt. Mrs. Brown is survived by her daughter, Denise L. Edwards (Bobby); sons, David Brown (Tammy) and Michael Brown (Angel); sisters, Brenda V. Brown (Steve) and Sue V. Walker (Curtis); brothers, Ronald Vickery (Susie), Anthony Vickery (Vickie) and Tony Moore (Debbie); grandchildren, David Brown Jr., Jessica Brown, Matthew Edwards, and Trenton Brown and the love of her life, Robert Brown. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 pm Wednesday, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Denise and Bobby Edwards.
