Harlet Hummel
June 25th, 1937 - December 5th, 2018
Harlet Hummel “Shorty”, 81, of Wenonah, NJ went home to be with the Lord on December 5, 2018. Legacy Harlet proudly served his country in the U.S Army and the National Guard. He worked for West Deptford Board of Education for 38 years, and numerous other jobs to provide for his family. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Union Church in Runnemede. Harlet loved fishing with his brother Walt, building Legos, taking daily walks, going out to eat and spending time with his family. Family He is survived by his wife Katherine (nee Vadino); Loving father of Robert E. Hummel (Rita), T. Scott Hummel, Dianna R. Aber (Earl), Steven P. Hummel (Grace), Angela M. Onstad (Ronald), and Andrew J. Hummel (Joshua); beloved grandfather of David, Bryan, Dana, Kathryn, and Kira; adored great grandfather of Cole, Sarah, Bryan Jr., Angel, Aiden, Carly, Sophia, Kinzliee, Briella, Kelsey, Paige, Taylor, Samantha, and William. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Farewell Ceremony Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 from 1 PM – 3 PM at the McGuinness Funeral Home – 34 Hunter St., Woodbury, NJ 08096.
