Katherine A. Brown, (nee Birney) age 92, of Woodbury, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 15, 2019. Legacy An outgoing and loving woman, Katherine dedicated her life to her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She worked for Knowles Realty as a secretary for many years before retiring. Katherine was a true class act and had a smile that could light up the room. She was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan and enjoyed bowling in her free time. A wonderful soul among us, she will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Family Cherished wife of Richard,Sr.; devoted mother of Katherine J. Schaub (Donald), Richard A., Jr. (Linda), and Kenneth J. (Terri); loving grandmother of Matthew Brown, Sr. (Kristina), Danielle Cleary (Keelan), Michelle Brown, Melissa Brown, Andrea Mokan (Eric) and great-grandmother of Matthew Brown, Jr., Emma Brown and Carter Mokan; dear sister of Anthony Ashton and the late John Birney, Jr., and Joseph Ashton, Jr. Katherine leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews.
