Jerome Robert Wesson

Jerome Robert Wesson, 72, of West Columbia, South Carolina joined the Angels on May 28, 2019. He was born on March 3, 1947 in Worcester, Massachusetts to the late Clark and Louie (Daniels) Wesson . Jerome was a very caring and giving man. He was still madly in love with his wife after fifty-six years of marriage. Jerome was a dedicated father to four boys. He was a master of trades with his hands. Jerome loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jerome is survived by his loving wife Virginia Ann Wesson, his sons David Allen Wooldridge Jr., Paul Wooldidge, his grandchildren; AJ Wooldridge, James Wooldridge, Danielle Wooldridge, his great-grandchildren; Zachary Wooldridge, Hayden Wooldridge, JD Wooldridge. He was preceded in death by his two sons; Mark Wooldridge and Timothy Wooldridge. The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home in Lexington, 4720 Augusta Road, Lexington, SC 29073 on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 11:00AM. Funeral services will follow in the chapel at 12:00PM with Pastor David Spears officiating. Burial will be at Southland Memorial Gardens, 700 W. Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29170 following the funeral service at 1:00PM.
