Richard "Ricky" N. Mascio
March 30th, 1951 - September 24th, 2019
Richard N. Mascio, a resident of West Deptford and Sea Isle City, New Jersey passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2019. He was 68 years old. Legacy Ricky was one of a kind. He was a retired pipefitter from Local 322 where he was employed for 30 years. He loved the shore, his cats (really all animals) his sweets, and his family (especially the children). He was just a big kid himself and that is what we loved about him. He was always a jokester and we could never believe anything that he ever said because we did not know when he was telling the truth or not. He loved to decorate inside and out, his house and yard was always impeccable. Words cannot express the void that he will leave in our hearts. Family He was the dear brother to Diane Kline (Thomas); Cherished Uncle to Thomas Kline Jr. (Adina), Michelle Schoch-Fanous (Peter) and Melissa McGrory (Tim); Loving Great-Uncle to Vanessa, Patrick, and Alaina Kline; Brandyn, Amanda, and Tyler Schoch; and Sophia McGrory; devoted caregiver to his feline companion, Rusty (Fangool). Richard was predeceased by his parents Nicholas and Sophie Mascio and great- niece Gabriella McGrory. Farewell Tribute Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Thursday October 3, 2019 from 8am-10am in the McGuinness Funeral Home- Woodbury, 34 Hunter Street. Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00am at Infant Jesus Parish at St. Margaret’s Church in Woodbury Hts., New Jersey with entombment at New Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Bellmawr. McGuinness Funeral Homes - Woodbury
We have served the Woodbury community since 1951, when our founder, James A. McGuinness, opened our first funeral home. He knew the importance of families having a trustworthy, local funeral home to help them memorialize their lost loved ones and navigate grief. Our beautiful funeral home in Woodbury was originally built in the late 1700s, and has since been rebuilt to honor its original charm and comfortable, warm feel. Once you walk through our doors, you become family....
