Carolyn Chapman, 76, of West Deptford, NJ passed away on October 9, 2019. Legacy A loving woman with a giving nature, Carolyn was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren. She was hard working, brilliant and selfless, always putting others needs before her own. Time spent at home was cherished, Carolyn always made sure holidays and birthdays were special for the entire family. She enjoyed sitting poolside or on the beach doing her crossword puzzles, watching the Phillies and the Eagles play and participating in her local bridge clubs. Born in Philadelphia, Carolyn was a resident of West Deptford since 1987. Carolyn graduated from Abington Friends School in Jenkintown, PA and received her Bachelor’s Degree from The Cornell University School of Hotel Management where she met the love of her life and late husband Tom. The two of them went on to The Wharton School of Business before selflessly leaving to run her father’s business. Prior to retiring, Carolyn was an accountant for Holston, Mac Donald, Uzdavinis & Myles and was heavily involved with Daisy Day and the AAUW. Family Beloved wife of the late, Thomas M.; devoted mother of Alisa Maureen Chapman-Oxley and Daniel (Jenny) Chapman; cherished grandmother of Brandon Thomas and Dylan John Donner Jones, Ross Melvin and Julie Elizabeth Chapman. Farewell Tribute Relatives and friends are invited to attend Carolyn's viewing on Friday, 10/18/2019, 9:30 - 10:30 AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ where the Funeral Ceremony will follow at 10:30 AM. Interment at West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, PA.
