Ronald Winfield Berge, Sr.
March 15th, 1939 - February 2nd, 2020
Ronald Winfield Berge, Sr. of West Deptford, New Jersey, and formerly of the Villages, FL passed away with his loving family by his side on Sunday, February 2, 2020. He was aged 80 years. Legacy Ron was born in Camden, NJ. He served in the United States Navy during the Lebanon Crisis and the Bay of Pigs Invasion. Following his time in the service; Ron returned home, met a young woman by the name of Judith; fell in love and shared 59 years of marriage. Together, they raised two loving children and created memories that will be cherished as his legacy. Ron worked for Strawbridge & Clothier in the Echelon Mall for more than 38 years and fostered friendships that lasted well into his retirement. Ron enjoyed spending time at the Borgata trying his luck at the penny slots. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved this special man. Family He is the beloved husband of Judith Ann (nee Shields); loving father of Lynda Myers and her husband Lester and Ronald W. Berge, Jr. and his wife, Leslie; cherished grandfather of George, Ronald, Brittney, Erika & David and great grandfather of Miles; dear brother of Harry Berge and Jeanette Hambleton. Farewell Tribute Ron's family will celebrate his life well lived with a private celebration.
