March 27th, 1927 - March 12th, 2020
Hope L. (McHugh) D'Ambrosio (nee Nichols), 92, of Deptford, NJ, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. Legacy A generous and loving woman, Hope was devoted to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Nothing brought her more joy then spending time with them all. Her family will miss her baked goodies such as pineapple squares, Welsh cookies, apple pie and homemade strawberry jam with no lumps. Hope loved traveling to places such as Branson and Pocmont resort with her late husband, Anthony and enjoyed crocheting and crafting. Born in Wilkes Barre, PA, Hope was a resident of Depford for 28 years and was long time resident of West Deptford prior to that. In younger years, Hope was a candy wrapper for Letty Lane Candy in Westville and then lovingly tended to her home and family. Family Beloved wife of the late Charles F. McHugh and the late Anthony D'Ambrosio; loving mother of Kevin McHugh, Mark McHugh, Anna D'Ambrosio, Marian Billstein, Lorraine Grasso and the late Charles J. McHugh; devoted grandmother of Nicole, Sarah, Mae, Michelle, Mark, Jason, Joshua, Danielle, Jennifer, Steven, Matthew, Daniel, Stephanie and great grandmother of many; dear sister of Joseph Nichols and the late Thelma (nee Nichols) (Borowski Schiffhauer. Farewell Tribute Relatives and friends are invited to attend Hope's visitation on Tuesday, 10:00 - 11:30 AM at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ 08096 where the Funeral Ceremony will follow at 11:30 AM. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ..
