November 18th, 1935 - July 24th, 2021
Ollie Florence Williams Corbett of West Columbia, SC left the loving embrace of her family, entering her heavenly home with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 24, 2021. She was born November 18, 1935 in Roswell, NM, daughter of Roy M. and Elizabeth Richter Williams. They lived in Lamesa, Texas for a while and then Fort Worth. In August 1954, she married Alton D. Corbett, moving to South Carolina with him and growing their family. A gentle, caring friend, wife, mother and grandmother and gardener, she cherished her friends and family, especially her children; Carol Boland (Mike), Dexter, and Bryan (Angela) and grandsons; Adam (Rebekah), William, and Michael. She is also survived by her sisters, Edna and Kay, and brothers Roy, Sam, and Dennis and their spouses. She is predeceased by her brother Joe. Services will be held on Wednesday, July 28 at West Side Baptist Church, West Columbia at 2 pm, preceded by visitation from 1:00 to 1:45 pm. Burial will follow at West Side Baptist Church Cemetery on Delree Street, West Columbia. Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family.
